Hmm.. not wishing to sound like a sourpuss, but wouldn't it be more prudent to organise a LAN before organising other social events? :\

I'm of the understanding that a large percentage of the few people who still look at these forums regularly are doing so awaiting a LAN announcement. :(

Still good luck :)

Don't get me wrong I used to like Zone3 and have even done league twice, but If i wanted to play lasertag with 5 people I've got Darkzone Malaga down the road. The other thing that makes me slightly uncomfortable is the way I was personally invited to the event, no NSA...i don't want "buttsecks", me you and a dark smoke filled room is not happening.

-edit, knowing me though ill change my mind 8 times before the date-

Chill. As you may have noticed, LANs take lots of time and effort to organise, which the problem the current admins are having problems with. Something like this takes almost zero organisation or effort is probably aimed to keep the community together in some way until they are able to run another LAN. Quit yer bitchin' :P

I believe most patrons would prefer a LAN. The history for these kind of events is pretty dismal. Sorry but it's true

Happy to be proven wrong though :)

Yeah kinda with ClontarfX on this one, it is WA 'LAN' after all...
And yeah been a long time since we seen a appearance yeah setting up and what not is hard work but there plenty of hands willing to help.
Organizing it is seems to be setting a date, organizing sponsors and getting a venue.

possibly even skip on the sponsors and prizes people seem to want a LAN here but no one seems to take any action, As ClontarfX has said throughout the forum if red flag can do it why can't WA LAN get one together.
Even if its one LAN a year at the moment there doesn't seem to be a LAN going to happen in 2010 under WA LAN, Be a shame.
